AXIS Body Worn Live streams live video, audio, and metadata from Axis body worn cameras in real time. Secure and reliable, it supports informed decision making by operators and provides an added sense of safety for camera wearers.

Never feel alone
With AXIS Body Worn Live, camera wearers need never feel alone. When an incident occurs and a wearer starts recording, they can immediately activate a live audio and video stream from their camera to the operator. The operator follows along in real-time in the cloud-based application. They can make informed decisions about things like when to send in backup – and GPS location coordinates indicate where they should send it. The operator has the possibility to send a notification to the wearer. The wearer then knows someone has their back, so they can concentrate on the incident rather than on communication with headquarters.

Be right there
From the moment a wearer activates AXIS Body Worn Live, everything their camera picks up will make it back to headquarters. Operators can start monitoring the scene – and supporting the wearer – right away. But even if the transmission drops out buffering means no data will be lost, for example if the wearer suddenly finds themselves in a WIFI dead zone. Operators see and hear everything – and it remains accessible for a full 24 hours. All cameras connect via pre-configured WIFI link at the push of a button.

Flexible, secure, and reliable
Just like our body worn cameras, AXIS Body Worn Live works independently of your choice of video or evidence management system. You can view streamed video on computers or mobile devices, and it can be streamed to one or more viewers simultaneously. You can also assign permissions based on roles to safeguard data integrity. Transmission is protected by end-to-end encryption. AXIS Body Worn Live runs on the secure Microsoft Azure platform. We ensure that it supports GDPR compliancy and it’s always up to date with the latest software releases and patches. You can also count on 99+ % uptime.
